Baylor Plano – My Thoughts
Here I’m going to give you my honest assessment of Baylor Plano.
This hospital is very nice in most ways. They provide free valet parking, the campus is laid out nicely, it’s easy to get to (right off the George Bush Turnpike and Preston Road) and there are a couple of hotels right on the property for guests or your family in case you’ve traveled some distance to avail yourself of their world-class services.
Their nursing staff is amazing. We absolutely LOVED our nurses, nurse techs and even housekeeping. My wife made a new friend in the housekeeping staff, so she could practice here Espanol and the two of them chattered endlessly having a great time. Even after one of my “roomies” and I decided to go on an unauthorized exploration one night, we were greeted with wry amusement by the nursing staff.
We had the best crew of smart, caring, clever and accommodating professionals taking care of us that anyone has a right to expect.
Every single member of PCU staff was wonderful and went out of their way to not only make sure I was well taken care of – but to always see if they could do anything for my long-suffering wife, who (attempted to) slept in my room nearby every night.
I am willing to go out on a limb and say the same for our ICU staff, although I was a bit out of it during most of my stay there.
All-in-all, Baylor Plano is exceptional with an amazing, caring personnel who are there to take care of you. I cannot say enough good things about this facility.
