The October / November issue of Frisco Image, should be in your mailbox by now. On page 24, an article on this year’s Holiday Tour of Homes, features the Frisco home of Lori Sands, which I photographed for this issue.
This was quite the challenge, as the holiday decorations were not quite finished on the day of the shoot, so we had to relocate ladders, boxes, light stands, extension cords and furniture from one room to another in order to clear the field of view and get the shots I needed. Not exactly what I had planned for, but we got what was required – and in the time allotted, so all was well in the end.
Naturally, the most difficult shot of all, taken from an upstairs room looking down, balancing on a ledge (and a couch), was not included in the story. Typical of the job. Just another day in the life of a photographer.
