Frisco Image, A new bi-monthly magazine launched with it’s debut issue in June, serving Frisco, Little Elm and Prosper. You will find my images on the cover in addition to frequent story coverage. Editor Barbara Peavy publishes Allen Image as well. The current issue for August / September, has a photo I shot in 2007 of the glass sculpture in front of Frisco’s Police Station on the cover. Lurking around a police station in the wee hours is a bad idea unless you identify yourself in advance to the officer on duty, so, having cleared my intention to photograph the building around 3:30am with the Chief well in advance, I made sure to let them know of my arrival and started looking for that “right” shot of this dramatic piece of architecture. This building is difficult to shoot. I’ve shot it at sunset, in the fog, in the rain and at high noon in infrared. It’s just hard to get that great shot due to it’s location. However… The glass feature out front proved to be my favorite of all the studies I’ve done of this property over the last couple of years.
