So We Had a Little Snow…
by Photog on Feb.16, 2010, under Frisco, gallery updates, News
Actually, this was a snowstorm with record-setting amounts of pretty, fluffy, cold (and slippery) white stuff – the likes of which we have never seen during our tenure in the Lone Star State. I’m especially fond of the little “snow elf” in the early part of the show.
And naturally I had to take some photos. So Karen and I took a walk around our little slice of paradise with the appropriate camera equipment and winter attire. This gave us an opportunity to visit with our neighbors who were busy constructing fairly large snowmen (and women). And this time they didn’t have to rake the entire yard to accomplish this feat as in years past. With better than six inches of snow accumulated on every horizontal surface, the process of snowperson building was greatly simplified. Yay!

Arts in the Square, an annual juried art show at Frisco Square, will be featuring 100 artists in various media from painting to photography and jewelry. I will be displaying many of my larger canvases in a addition to a very affordable selection of unframed, matted images in various sizes. For the first time, I am focusing on my Tuscan Series, photographed in 2007, so stop by and pay us a visit.
